Bical wine grape
Bical is an early-ripening aromatic variety with scents of peach and apricot. Green and grassy when young, it can age well, taking on petrolly notes akin to Riesling.
It’s usually called Borrado das Moscas (fly droppings) in Dão, due to its speckled skin when ripe.
