Rupeccio wine grape
So obscure we can’t even find a picture of it, Rupeccio is an Italian grape native to Umbria, occasionally used in the blend for Orvieto. As far as we can determine, only two producers, Sassara and Sergio Mottura, claim to grow it.
The picture is complicated by another not-quite-so-obscure grape, Drupeggio, which is called Drupeccio or Trupeccio within Umbia, and is also used in Orvieto. However, Rupeccio and Drupeggio have separate entries in the EU grape varieties database, so it would seem that they are not the same.
