An "as before" wine, made the old-school way

The label may look modern and the young winemaker is known as a maverick, but this is a classical Mosel Riesling made the way it used to be, half a century ago: few chemicals; no cultured yeasts; no stainless steel tanks. “Dajoar” is a Mosel dialect word meaning “as before”.
 
Enjoy this delightfully old-school white fairly well-chilled - 9°C to 10°C.
 
You don’t need food for this one, but it will pair beautifully with sushi, spicy Asian food (especially Thai), and soft cheeses.

You don’t need food for this one - Mosel Rieslings make great aperitifs. In fact they can be a little tricky to match with food, being often a bit too sweet for the main course but not quite sweet enough for dessert.
 
But this one is a food wine, being a particularly powerful example and drier than most. Dishes with a bit of sweetness will match best, especially if they're spicy too. It will pair beautifully with sushi, spicy Asian food (especially Thai), and soft cheeses.
