Wine details

... a sense of belonging

Australian wine can be more about technology than terroir; it’s common to make a wine from vineyards hundreds of miles apart.  Bucking this trend is Larry Cherubino, champion of Western Australia’s long neglected Great Southern region, who believes that great wine is made in the vineyard and should reflect the place where it was grown.
This red blend is all about belonging: made from varieties that belong together to produce a wine that belongs on the table with food and whose taste belongs to its cool-climate Frankland River vineyards.  Hence its name!
Made largely from Shiraz seasoned with a little Grenache and Mourvèdre, this floral and herby red is a lot more northern Rhône than Barossa Valley.  But it’s ready to drink sooner and costs rather less.
